688 Tasting Notes
This was supposed to be saved for my b-day, which is in about a week. But since I went to a Harvest Fair today, it was time for more seasonal tea.
It smells kinda like the pie tea, which is pretty good. I think it’s the cloves. The flavour is sweet and apple, though the spices aren’t as strong brewed. Good, and I might end up using some as bread flavouring.
Preparation
So, I was on a tour Monday… and there was a David’s shop close by, so I had to go. I picked this up because it smelled so good. At first kinda reminded me of those fall scents from Yankee Candles that are so awesome you wish they were edible. And it is so much better as tea.
Haven’t green tea or apple pie in a while. It has a really good apple cinnamon flavour which I could totally see being pie or a galette even. Anyway, it is a really good seasonal tea. (And now I need to make a pie)
Preparation
Sleepy Hollow brunch, as I had to watch a new autumn show with my new seasonal tea. And I can’t help but wonder what the main character would think of my electric kettle.
Anyway, I did like this one in the store. It smells nicely like ice cream. I’ve not had mulberry leaves before, but they’re pretty good.
And the flavour is sweet, creamy, and nutty.
Preparation
I’ve been wanting to try this for a while. Since I happened to be driving right by a shop, I finally got some. It smells so nice, and relaxing. The lavender seems stronger as a scent. The flavour is more sweet, herbal coconut.
Now I feel like I should use it for cookies.
