97 Tasting Notes
This is deliciously buttery and sweet; almost like I’m drinking creamy caramel. I’m glad I got this instead of Creme Brulee!
Almost resteeped it, but decided against it since I’m trying to cut back a little on my tea consumption. I drink way too much a day, and it’s starting to become a little bit of an addiction. I think I may be turning into some kind of tea junkie.
Preparation
Steeped this one and couldn’t finish before having to leave somewhere, so I tossed it in my mom’s coffee travel mug and away we went. (Hopefully, I’ll get a timolino someday. But until then, this works!)
Reminds me a lot of Gingerbread, but less spice. Lots of carrot flavour was coming through as well. I was never the biggest fan of carrot cake, and this reminds me a lot of it. It was quite delicious though!
I found this flavour at a different location and the woman there told me that was all they had and that this flavour is discontinued – so I bought 50g instead of my usual 25g sampler. I’m glad I did.
Preparation
My mom bought me a cup of this to go while we were out today.
Delicious, but…I probably shouldn’t leave my tea bag in my cup while I’m drinking this one. Towards the end bitterness started to take over and I decided against mooching for free hot water to resteep.
Preparation
Ooh, this was yummy. Super creamy and flavourful even on multiple steeps (of which I made quite a few, trust me – I liked it that much!). The pineapple really shines here, giving the tea a tropical taste. I had huge lovely chunks of pineapple in my bag.
I was a little skeptical about trying this, but I have 0 regret. Might eventually get a tin of this.
Preparation
My friend bought me a cup of this to go while we were at the mall together. <3 Hes a lovely person.
Super delicious as always, chocolatey with a dark nutty undertone. Resteeped this 3 times because I couldnt get enough.
Preparation
Oh god is this sweet. This is hyper mega sweet. Spoonful-of-sugar-directly-into-your-mouth sweet.
The more I sip, the more I don’t like this. Oh, it’s definitely honey. But it’s just so god damn SWEET.
Kinda makes me wish for some Choconut Oolong.
Preparation
Wow, I can’t believe I like this! It doesn’t taste like pumpkin pie per say, but it definitely has a pumpkin spiciness that lingers. Quite addictive, actually. And this is coming from somebody who doesn’t really care for pumpkin spice.
What I don’t like, however, is the grimy gritty feeling I’m getting at the back of my throat after I sip. It feels like I need to have a glass of water on hand to wash it away.
Preparation
Afternoon tea time! Hooray.
Mmmm. My tea right now is cooling off – still too hot to drink, really – but I can’t stop taking tiny little sips. Me likey. The strawberry is definitely in the forefront, but the chocolate is also noticeable and leaves a musky sweet finish. The aftertaste is sweet and fruity. Really does remind me of biting into a dark chocolate dipped strawberry.
Preparation
Arrgh, my stomach is absolutely killing me this morning. :( It was a hard toss up between trying a new tea and settling back on an old favourite, but I took the plunge and went for something different despite the unnerving feeling in the pit of my gut.
To be honest, I wasn’t sure about this one. I adore rooibos, but I thought this blend MIGHT be a little too herbally for my liking. I must say, I’m pleasantly surprised. DavidsTea hasn’t let me down so far. This tea has just enough tropical fruity flavour without being cloying. It’s refreshingly different. I have a feeling this would make a wonderful iced tea.
Will I repurchase? Probably not. But I’ll have no issue finishing what I have.
