97 Tasting Notes
Not what I was hoping for. Like others have said, I was honestly hoping for a liquid pumpkin pie type of flavor and got nothing close. The spices are definitely there but they go down the throat harsh. This has been sitting in my cupboard for over a year now and I haven’t had more than a few bags – chances are it’ll end up in the trash eventually since I’ve found the incredible world of loose leaf tea.
Preparation
This is the perfect tea to end a meal. It tastes to me almost exactly like Terry’s Chocolate Orange…what used to be my favourite chocolate that I can no longer have. Brewed my dad a cup (somewhat regretfully as I’m greedy and want it all to myself :P….shhh) and he told me the same. This was my first real purchase of tea from DavidsTea and I’m not disappointed in the slightest.
Preparation
Originally tried this at a friend’s house straight up and didn’t really care for it. On a whim I decided to purchase it for myself and added sweetener. Man, is this ever good! It has a wonderful dark chocolate musky taste with a subtle nuttiness from the coconut. I was able to steep the leaves twice. What a treat!
Preparation
My absolute favourite tea. I recently received it for Christmas and it’s really gotten me into drinking tea regularly. I’ll probably have to go back and stock up…I literally cannot stop drinking the stuff! Haven’t tried it iced yet but I’ve read it’s wonderful that way as well.
