1908 Tasting Notes
Argh, Yogi’s teabags always tear on me for some reason – I hate having floaty bits in my tea!
Steeped for 3.5 minutes. No matter how much or how little I steep it it tastes like I’ve added 3 or 4 teaspoons of sugar due to the licorice root in the tea.

I’ve been pondering this one for a while but haven’t pulled the trigger. How does it taste? Is it medicine-E tasting!?
That tartness disguises most of the green tea flavour unfortunatly. And I supect the company is cheating and using hibiscus instead of the actual fruit flavours for all their pomegranate/cranberry/raspberry teas because they all taste remarkably similar, I find.
Thumbs down for you Stash!
My first taste of Yunnan! The leaves were longer than I’m used to seeing but it was neat watching them expand and unfurl while they steeped (5 minutes).
I’m not entirely sure what they meant by ‘peppery’ in the description, to me it tastes more smokey but with a cleaner, vegetale undertone almost like what you’d get in a green tea maybe.
This is one I’ll have to experiment with the steeping time more, but I think it’s quite enjoyable thus far. It’s robust enough that it’d probably be a good wake-me-up tea to have in the morning.
