1373 Tasting Notes
This smells delicious! A sample I received in the mail today from Will Work For Tea (along with so many others!) :)
Just steeping now and I’m so excited to try this one. It’s actually my first to try from 52Teas.
And on a sidenote while this is cooling I’ve been cold brewing Blueberry Jam and Kiwi’s Big Adventure (both DavidsTea) since I left for work this morning and I can’t wait to try those ones a little later!
I’m definitely getting some maple-y taste and as it cools slightly more pancake. Delicious!
Thanks again Will Work For Tea!!
Preparation
So I ordered English Rose online from DavidsTea and I’ve actually never tried a floral tea so I picked up a 10g bag of this today at the store to prepare myself. It smells very pretty – just like a flower garden (what a surprise right?).
It smells and tastes like a rose garden. But I’m not quite sure I’m fully sold on drinking roses. Perhaps by the end of the cup it will grow on me more.
Preparation
Off to DavidsTea again today to get 50g of Lime Gelato. Well they were out of Lime Gelato but I left with a bunch more 10g samples ah! So bad, yet so good haha. I’m just steeping Cookie Dough now.
Yep, like liquid cookie dough (but not overpoweringly sweet). I’m tasting the the chocolate for sure and surprisingly whatever nut taste is in there isn’t turning me off this tea.
Okay second cup of this from my sample pack I picked up a couple days ago. I’m really enjoying this one, but I’m not really sure why. I can taste both the coconut and chamomile – I think it’s the chamomile I’m enjoying. It’s a interesting mix.
Happy New Year :)
Preparation
Oh yum I can smell this one steeping from across the room. Ah blueberries. I love blueberries, but usually I find blueberry flavoured things much too strong.
There are blueberries, but the taste is nothing compared to the smell. I was hoping the taste wasn’t as intense as the smell (since that would be like drinking actual blueberry jam) but it just seemed to be the bare minimum taste-wise. I’ll finish this sample but probably won’t purchase again.
Update: Well I cold brewed this one as well (I’m thinking a wee bit too long – since yesterday morning before work). I’m liking it more than when it was hot for sure but I’m not quite sold. There’s certainly more of a blueberry taste with a nice sweetness at the end of the sip but it seems not quite “true blueberry” enough for me. Hmm.
Update: By the end of the cup it’s grown a little more on me but still not enough for the permanent collection.
Preparation
So I’ve been writing all my tasting notes as I’ve been drinking my teas because I’m simply no good at remembering specifics once I’m done.
So, from what I remember – definitely tasty. This was another of my samples I picked up while at DavidsTea today. I love when coconut works out in my teas! I LOVE coconut – the smell, the taste, everything! And I liked the mix of black and white tea – neat. I’ll have to have another cup and decide from there if this gets the upgrade to my collection.
Preparation
Nothing like a little Lime Gelato to start off what promises to be a crazy Monday.
The lovely lady who packaged up what seemed like a million samples at DavidsTea yesterday convinced me to try this one. Lime isn’t usually something I gravitate towards but I’m actually quite excited to try it.
And success! Tastes just like it smells. Delish! I’m loving the yogurt taste with the apple. Definitely a treat tea for me but that warrants having it around all the time. I may upgrade this one to my permanent collection.
Update: Ahh, even better when it’s slightly cooled!
