This tea is good, but this tea is smoky. The dry leaves smelled smokier than anything I can remember. The brewed tea was incredibly smoky. So much so that I had to put unflavored non dairy creamer in it to mitigate the smokiness. With this addition it was quite a tasty tea. This tea was as smoky as any Chinese Lapsang Souchong and then some. If you like insanely smoky tea this one would be a good one for you. It is only with great rarity that I put any sort of milk in my tea as generally I feel it ruins the flavor of the tea. This tea however was too much for me.

I brewed this one time in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker with 3 tsp leaf and 200 degree water for 3 minutes.

Flavors: Smoked

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 3 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
