I’m pretty sure this is the same as one of Adagio’s old pumpkin black teas. I haven’t had this particular one, but I recognize the flavoring from Adagio’s other pumpkin tea. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I’m just not into what they’re doing here. Instead of being savory or spicy, it just tastes very sweet and fruity. I agree with another review that mentions it has a bit of a soda taste. It’s not that it tastes bad. It’s just so contrary to my expectations, that I find myself disappointed. Maybe if it were marketed as sweet pumpkin or something, it would be okay.
Angry Tea Room does wholesource some Adagio Teas (their Lavender Earl Grey being one) so you are likely right.
