This unique tea was sent to me by Mastress Alita. It’s definitely strong! I first tried it with just sugar, and got a strong taste of rooibos followed by black tea with a whisper of butterscotch underneath. I immediately added milk, and wow that really brought it all together. It tastes caramely and butterscotchy, and you can’t taste the rooibos anymore, it just supports the other flavors. There’s no bitterness. This one is very, very good. I would drink this all the time if I had more!

Mastress Alita

It’s the best thing ever as a latte.

I looked up the Etsy shop, and the prices are slightly intimidating for the sizes you get, but I may have to place an order sometime. I love making teas into lattes!

Cameron B.

I considered ordering from them after seeing Mastress Alita’s glowing review, but the prices are quite steep. I also saw several Adagio teas in the ingredients list which gave me pause as I don’t generally like Adagio’s blends.

Mastress Alita

The Etsy shop is an original small-batch blender, not an Adagio reseller. I’ve actually tried ordering Adagio blends trying to “mimick” this one to get a better price and they are awful in comparison.

Cameron B.

I didn’t mean to imply they just resell Adagio teas, but they do use at least some in their blending as there are Adagio teas listed by name in some ingredients lists (Yunnan Jig, Wuyi Ensemble, Puerh Dante).

I’m not trying to discourage anyone else from ordering, I was just explaining why I hadn’t. :)

Mastress Alita

I have not seen a single one of their listings list any of those ingredients…

I’m an event planner who always has multiple mugs of tea beside me. Hobbies other than tea include board games, video games, cooking international dishes, science fiction, hiking, jigsaw puzzles, tap dancing, reading, listening to podcasts, and playing with my troublesome kitties.

Favorite flavors: dessert flavors, nutty, melon, mint, strawberry, anything rooibos-related.

Don’t prefer: Smoky, rosemary, savory flavors, floral (other than lavender), plain tea.

I always drink flavored tea, and preferably caffeine-free or black. I’ll try just about anything though! Let me know if you’re interested in a swap!

My ratings are kind of meaningless, but basically
90-100 pretty perfect
80-89 really good
70-79 good, but not the best
60-69 okay, but probably not for me
1-59 varying degrees of dislike
