Very strong cinnamon fragrance, but the flavour offers a good balance of spices and a buried hint of white tea! The chai spices definitely dominate.

Nope nope nope. Soooooo bitter. I made a cup, tried a sip, and immediately tossed it. Unpalatable and bitter.

Sigh. I wanted to like you, really I did! You promised excitement and adventure, but it turned out that you have no personality. You’re weak and bland, and I just feel nothing for you. As tea goes, you don’t have a strong enough leaf to demonstrate any character, and as far as red velvet cake – I detect none of that sweetness. No chocolate, no cake, no creaminess. All I taste is a weak tea with some generically sweet artificial flavouring. So bummed.

Maybe I’ll try this tea again one day to find out if the stuff I got was just not a good representative, but I won’t pay for it unless it drastically changes my mind somehow.

I love this tea, but it’s definitely not an everyday tea and probably not a good morning tea. Drinking this tea is like smoking a pipe with some delicious, smooth tobacco.

I love this loose leaf tea! It has a very strong chai flavor.

The taste is sweet enough not to disappoint the expectations provided by the scent, which is just like the cocktail. This tea left a slight afterburn, but that may just have been because I left it to steep a bit longer than I’d intended, and ended up with a deep blood red brew. Overall, I liked it more than I expected.

Drank it last night with some friends and will have it iced this morning. Black pepper should be in more teas. Doesn’t have an overly powerful strawberry taste, but I love the black pepper-black tea combo. Wonder if I can just add black pepper to my normal black tea…

OMG! this is by far my favorit tea! its like a yummy treat for getting through my day. BEST!

This is my 2nd try of this and still enjoy it. I am beginning to think that I like this one over the Vanilla Oolong, which is a tad surprising to me. Either way…good stuff!

I wanted a Hersey’s Bar…for a change…but this is healthier! :) LOVE the smell! It’s so Dark Chocolate smelling…just what I was craving!

I really want to love this tea as much as I love the Dark Forest chai from Townshend’s, but it doesn’t quite get there for me. It gets a little bitter later in the pot, but overall is a pretty nice morning cup.
