Popular Tasting Notes
I keep a box of Twinnings green tea at work, and drink it iced, unsweetened, every day with lunch. Because it doesn’t have a very strong flavor, I can pour 16oz over a 24oz cup of ice, and and sip on that all afternoon, right down to the last bits of melted ice. I don’t care for it hot; it’s a bit acidic.

Love, love, love this tea!! It is right up there with my new found love for pumpkin chai. I sweetened (as always) just a pinch and found that the cinnamon and cloves really started to pop. I loved the nostalgic smell of all the spices, I smell cloves and am always brought right back to Christmas. It was not at all bitter like I had feared it would be and the heat from the spices was really nice!
The tea smells like a forest after it rains, but with sweet notes of mint within.
I add milk and sugar to my teas.
The tea was very nice. It was smooth and creamy, not astringent or bitter in any way. The vanilla was soft and the peppermint wasn’t overpowering. It was a nice mix of both.

Preparation
A good quality Earl Grey that has the delicate aroma and a bit stronger flavor of bergamot that many fans enjoy. Lacking the hint of citrus some higher quality leaves have. Nevertheless, a great staple to have in the kitchen.
Comes in individual silk bags perfect for steeping.
Over steeping does ruin flavor a tad.

Preparation
Got a sample from “your daily resolution” sampler from DAVIDsTEA. I am a fan of florals, especially jasmine and peach and I like the idea of the green/white/jasmine tea blend. The smell of the dry tea really caught my attention, definitely peachy but I noticed a little bitterness undertone when I smelled deeper that did not come through when steeped. I was careful not to over steep, around 2 minutes and that was just about right because it turned out beautifully. It tastes vegetal, grassy and peachy. I know there was a couple of jasmine pearls in there but the jasmine did not come out as much as I hoped, so when I make this again I may toss in a jasmine butterfly (from DAVIDsTEA) to bump up the floral. Now as I get to the bottom of my first cup, I am hooked and my rating keeps moving up. Would recommend to people who like florals and peach.
Preparation
Trying out this tea for the first time. I opened the bag and the smell of the dry leaves was overwhelmingly coconut-y. Very tropical I guess. The taste is good. Chai, black tea, astringent, and lemony. I don’t really taste the coconut, but the smell stays. It’s okay. Probably wouldn’t get more after the sample is done though. Not to much my taste.
