Popular Tasting Notes
*quick note, I got mine from ZEN Tea. (http://ezentea.com/). I"m no master at Chai stuff, so it’s probably not the best it could be, but it’s pretty good. the smell reminds me of Christmas. Oh, and I used some French Vanilla, Fat free creamer (mom’s stuff).
Overall pretty good! just gotta get used to using creamer instead of sugar.
Preparation
I rarely drink this because I still can’t make my mind up about it. It was the first tea I have had with lavender in it. So the first time I made up a pot and realised it was very floral and I did not like it, I blamed the lavender. However, I think it is the strong chamomile taste that I dislike the most. The reason I have rated it so high, and continue to drink it, is because it is super relaxing! I have insomnia and this is the only thing that can relax me enough to fall asleep.
Flavors: Floral, Lavender
Preparation
This tea is incredibly aromatic. I can smell the bergamot, vanilla, and lavender very clearly. The tea itself is beautiful – there are reds and blues and pinks and purples. The black tea itself makes up a strong majority of the blend. The leaves are small but long and most are straight or with a slight bend. I can especially taste the lavender and bergamot.
Second Steep
8 ounces water + 212 degrees
Flavors: Bergamot, Lavender, Vanilla
Preparation
I really disliked this tea. It was worth a shot and I went in with an open mind but could not bring myself to enjoy the taste. It was too much like drinking moss or wet tree bark. I tried adding anything to it; cream, sugar, honey, and realized that nothing will ever make me enjoy this tea. However, I would recommend people to try it because they might like it better.
