Popular Tasting Notes
I apparently suck as a tea aficionado because my rating for this tea is significantly higher. I brewed it for iced tea, as it’s a THOUSAND in Texas right now. It is super refreshing, and everyone in the house enjoyed it. We brewed it in our Teavana iced tea pitcher and it made a perfect drink that was gone in just over 24 hours.
I got more apple-butter than the described pumpkin-butter for this one, but I still really liked it. It was surprisingly smooth for a rooibos-based blend, and managed to be festively spiced (cloves and cinnamon) without veering too strongly into yankee candle territory. I found that the longer I steeped this one, the more the ‘pumpkin’ it tasted.

I love Caribbean Crush! It’s the first fruity tea I ever tried from David’s and I’ve been hooked since. It’s so refreshing and honestly reminds me of Capri Sun juice in a way but so much better. I always cold brew it because it’s much better that way.
Preparation
Second tea of the day. My first genmaicha experience. I actually enjoyed the taste of rice in tea. Probably because I love rice and I grew up eating rice with everything. It does have a slight ‘burnt’ or toasted rice taste which I actually love, but hubby is not crazy about it. Toasted rice, buttery popcorn, nutty and chocolatey. This drink definitely made me want to explore genmaicha more.
I’m not a coffee drinker in the least and don’t really like black teas. I got this as a sample with my first order from the site and gave it a taste…this is the only black tea I will drink!
I love it. The spices are just right and I don’t have to add anything to it. The coffee beans and the cinnamon add the nicest flavor to it. I don’t find it that strong at all.
It is the perfect pick me up on some mornings and will definitely be ordering more in the future!
