Popular Tasting Notes
Blueberry goodness! This tea is very interesting. This was my first experience with the twig tea. I can’t believe how much of that tea plant is usable! The blueberry isn’t overwhelming. I got 3 brews from this. I don’t think I would buy this again, but I am interested in having the green kukicha by itself. I agree, the blueberry comes off artificial. I don’t know if the flavoring was.
Preparation
It’s a shame that this tea is a limited edition! The blend of Darjeeling and Assam is truly lovely. I was worried that this tea would be bitter but it isn’t at all. The taste of the tea isn’t heavy at all, although it is strong. It is much lighter than a standard English breakfast tea.
Very bright and invigorating. Smells only like grapefruit in the bag but brews more evenly. Sweet and Citrus are the primary flavors, but there is still depth to it. Definitely a great way to combat tiredness. I personally find it too sweet for a morning tea, so probably best as an afternoon/desert tea.
