Didn’t think I’d like this, but after a friend gave me a sample I asked her to pick up some more for me.

This tea is incredibly smooth with no astringency. I love the chocolate flavors and to me it’s also somewhat earthy – it’s delicious and it’s the perfect morning cup.

I drank this tea iced and it had a strong lime smell. The taste was more mild than the smell. It was not bad as an iced tea and I didn’t even add sugar.

I tried this at a friend’s house today. Delicious, smooth, and the tiniest bit smokey. This is a tea I would like in my collection someday.

LOVE this tea. It really tastes like a cup full of hot, buttery, sugar cookies. I got this tea mainly bc I wanted to curb my nighttime sweet snack. This satisfies my sweet tooth and is much better than anything I was snacking on.

Nice almondy dark oolong with some smoke. Not smoked almonds, though(!), a woodsy smoke. Good, round flavor without being perfumey. About a 4 on the smoke meter… not dominating but still a smokey nose on the post-sip exhale :) A frank, lingering astringency has me rating this a couple of points lower than the flavor deserves.

There’s quality in this tea no doubt which justifies the premium price I paid. When I first drank it, I thought the mint was strong to my taste (I’m not a “mint” person and) leaving strong minty after -taste. But a after a few sips, I got used to it and eventually liked it. Very rich in flavour, not watery and that’s one of the reasons I like it – premium quality.

I was on vacation last week, and on the way back we stopped at a Teavana store. It was my first time in one, and they were having a sale, so I decided to pick up a couple of teas and a tea brewing pitcher. I made some cold brew sweet tea in that for my husband, which hopefully he likes. (I personally cannot stand the amount of sugar in sweet tea). Since I’ve been searching for an herbal peach tea that doesn’t taste disgustingly artificial and sweet, I decided to try this. It is quite sweet, and the artificial peach flavor is prominent, but it has enough underlying complexity that I think it’s actually the best herbal peach tea I’ve had. I’ll probably try blending it with a few things in the days to come and see how that turns out.

This was one of the teas in my 24 Days of Tea calendar! I have never really had a straight green tea before, so I wanted to write a review on it.

This tea is better than I expected, though it is quite simple. I didn’t realize it had caffeine, so making it at 11:30pm was probably a bad idea haha (though at any other time I’d be fine with it having caffeine – I actually enjoy the caffeine). Perhaps I have let it steep longer than I should have (I’m not familiar with how to make straight green tea), but I find it to be kind of salty tasting. Maybe it’s just me? I’m not sure! I have noticed that people said it tastes seaweed-y, so maybe that’s what I am tasting. Not bad, just unexpected.

Overall, the tea isn’t awful. I am giving it a lower rating because I probably won’t buy any of it to keep a permanent stash. I’d drink it again, but I do prefer other David’s Tea green teas (ex. detox, toasted walnut, movie night).

Flavors: Autumn Leaf Pile, Earth, Salt, Seaweed
