Popular Tasting Notes
I’ll admit, it’s not “tea” in the traditional sense. It was in my room mates DT calendar, so we decided to give it a shot. Worst case, we threw the pot out and made something else. I don’t really understand the colour. I mean, sure, it’s pretty… But I wouldn’t have cared if it was green or brown. I mean, it is a “nut” tea after all.
You know what this is? Guilt-free apple cider. Sure, it’s not “tea”, but it was a nice late-night winter tea for us! This would probably be a great drink for your friends that don’t like “tea”, similar to Goji Pop from DT.
Preparation
The tea brewed to the colour of dark liquid honey. So far I can’t say this is a very fragrant tea. I didn’t catch any distinctive smells from my cup. It’s a soothing tea that isn’t overbearing and I’ve found that it re-steeps well.
Flavors: Citrus
Preparation
This tea has a mildbitter taste, but a teaspoon of sugar or honey will improve the flavor greatly. Boil water and add the teabag in ad let it steep for a minute or two, this tea releases very fast compared to green tea ( I drink green tea pretty often), with minimum bag dipping. But in my case it takes sometimes over an hour to make me sleepy.
Preparation
It’s a tea ball. It does what it’s supposed to do. Small bits escape through it so it’s not ideal for small leaved teas. I use it when I’m too lazy to use my steeper (because I don’t want to clean it out) and when I don’t want to use a teabag (because I don’t want to run out of them). I only use it at home though.
its not too chocolatey, i love the spices.
i tried it with and without milk and sugar and found i prefered it without.
a great alternative to instant hot chocolate, with sugar added
needs to be brewed for the full length of time for the best flavour
