Such a delightful little tea.

Also good to brew at work as I have little control (not a very good kettle, often have to run to answer the phone and forget about steeping). I actually dumped this into my Libre without thinking so it stayed in my glass as I drank and never got bitter or any less delicious.

This certainly is better with milk. I’ve tried it steeped only in water and once on the stovetop with milk. This time, steeped in water with a bit of milk added, is the way to go.

I like Coco Chai Rooibos. But I don’t know why I don’t love it. I love chai, I love rooibos, I love coconut. I suppose maybe I prefer a richer chai? Or maybe there is too much ginger in here for me. I’m not sure. I enjoy drinking it when I have it, but never think to buy it.

Interesting. The rooibos had very little scent in the bag. As soon as I poured water on it I got excited as I suddenly got a whiff of juicy, fresh-picked strawberries. I don’t know where that came from, though! Maybe wishful thinking. When I went in for a closer sniff, I really just smelled the rooibos.

I mostly just taste rooibos here. There is a hint of berry taste, but I’m not getting any of the “cream” as I’m drinking it. It’s okay, definitely not a re-order. Oh, Boxing Day sales.

This is pleasant enough as my before-bed cup. I don’t find it as puzzling as the other teas from my 52 Teas order. I loved the appearance of the leaves, and they brewed a very, very pale cup of tea. It was tasty but maybe a little too candy-sweet for me.

Once this cooled most of the way, I found it drinkable but still not something I’m likely to make again.

Whoah. I expected to like this from the scent, but I don’t. It does taste very, very nutty. I feel like I’m snacking on almonds.

But for some reason I can’t handle it. It’s just too much. I think it’s too heavily flavoured for me and loses any oolong flavour. I’m finding this with some of the fruit-flavoured teas I ordered from Teaopia, but if I’m in the right mood I can get into those. There is just too much going on here. I can’t even get halfway through my cup!

My second steep on the way out of work was, I think, equally as good. It didn’t seem to lose any of its lustre.

I’m feeling rather downtrodden and have to endure another two hours at a very quiet office.

Libre green in a Libre to the rescue? Perhaps! This is helping me feel less like I forgot to wake up today. It’s nice and sweet and mildly grassy. I think I’ll increase my rating because I am enjoying it even more this time.
