1024 Tasting Notes
Aaaaand I couldn’t help but finish off the last of this tonight. About half a tsp sugar added to this made it ridiculously sweet; I wish I’d tried it before adding the sugar! But this was definitely a nice brew and I’m glad I got the sample, even gladder I read the ingredients the other day and realised I wanted to drink this ASAP.
Preparation
Forgot that I already tried cold brewing this sample and promptly cold brewed it again. Luckily I have a scoop left to try hot!
This time I overbrewed and the ginger is a bit too prevalent (I’ve discovered there’s ginger in here. Hahaha). It’s still very nice but just remember this is one you shouldn’t overbrew! Maybe 12hrs max for cold brewing.
I don’t ever drink these turkish tisanes by themselves, because it’s basically like drinking sugar. Which is a bit weird. However, I love having them to sweeten iced brews, rather than using boring old regular sugar.
I don’t use them a LOT, but I’ve been icing a bit more lately and that reminded me to leave a tasting note. I’ll try to remember to update tasting notes each time they get thrown into a jug with another blend.

I buckled and bought the cherry before Christmas when T2 finally had another tea society event (it had been SO LONG) and they had on a Christmas-themed brew they called “candy cane”, which I THINK was just peppermint and turkish cherry. It was fresh and delicious and I gave in and bought it.
I’ve since used it just recently with Rabbit Hole’s Ruby Zing, which was a bit too zingy and needed to be sweetened out (thanks hibiscus). A couple of scoops of turkish cherry into the 2L jug made it absolutely delicious.
I’ll try to remember to add a tasting note each time I splice it with something!
I have such a variety of the tisanes from when I went to turkey and I would have never thought to use them this way.
Oh gosh, it’s beautiful as a cold brew, too.
This time I was reminded of my recent overbrewed mistake with white tea and so these leaves only got soaked for 4-5 hours. The drink came out beautifully blushed pink and cloudy, with a strong scent of berries, the taste echoing the scent and adding coconut and chocolate.
This is so, so good.
(Considering the raspberry and coconut laden through this, I clearly have a Type. Looking at you, Fantasy Island.)
Flavors: Chocolate, Coconut, Raspberry

tfw you have to add a new tea that you clearly forgot to add when you first tried the sample months ago
and you remember really enjoying it months ago
(except you can’t remember how you brewed it then)
and this time when you use the last of your sample in a cold brew you probably brewed it too long or it just didn’t really suit cold brewing because it’s not super awesome
but you’re all out of sample so you can’t keep playing with it
BUT ANYWAY
dangit this wasn’t even a sipdown
Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh HAPPY. YUM.
Yes, this is a tea I’m losing my vocabulary over.
I compared my sample of this with Rabbit Hole’s Turkish Delight tonight and this one came out on top SO HARD. It’s light and delicious and so good and it doesn’t need anything else at all. This one, this one I’m gonna restock.
Preparation
Let’s get these samples down! Tonight I compared this one and Rabbit Hole’s White Delight. Both lovely, my favourite way to serve them is at crazy opposite ends of the scale. This one definitely tastes best for me with sugar and cream. A crazy good dessert tea. It’s a bit too bitter for me on its own. Even with just cream it’s good, but sugar too takes it to another level.
