DAVIDsTEA - Spring Collection?
None of those new teas really inspire me to try them but if they are brewing them at the store I’d be willing to try them out. I wonder if the old Timolino’s are on sale? I don’t have one yet and wanted to get that ice blue one. Maybe when the new comes in the old will go on sale??? I hope!
I’m more looking forward to the new teaware, but one thing I don’t like about the David’s timolinos is that they all have the cream white tops. No matter how hard I clean them, they’re more likely to look tea stained than the black tops I get when I order a timolino somewhere else. But I do like the large size at David’s so it’s a bit of a tradeoff.
Two of my free samples from DavidsTea included their spring collection, Peaches and Cream and Pom Tango. I’ll type what they say there:
PEACHES & CREAM (Fruit Infusion)
With big pieces of peach, apple and vanilla, this fruit-packed blend tastes just like fresh peaches with vanilla-scented cream.
INGREDIENTS: Peach, apple, vanilla pieces, peach crunchy (peach puree, tangerines, strawberry juice, black carrot juice), safflower, sunflowers, natural flavoring.
PREPARATION: 1.25 tsp, 205F (96C), 4-7 Min, Caffeine free
POM TANGO (Black Tea)
Bursting with fruity pomegranate seeds and big, luscious pieces of mango, this black tea blend is like a cross between your favorite breakfast tea and the best juice ever.
INGREDIENTS: Mango(mango, sugar), black tea, pomegranate, artificial flavoring.
PREPARATION: 1.25 tsp, 205F(96C), 4-7 min, Medium caffeine

I’m really excited. I imagine I’ll be placing an order tomorrow at work, unless everyone buys all the tentacle mugs out. :O
I was going to go in store and buy 30g of all the summer teas, but the online order might be better. At least with the Spring Collection I get 20 teabags, which helps offset the cost… And I’ll probably get free shipping. /0\

Which two OMG?
I need help narrowing it down between tentacles, lobster and whales! They’re great for differnet reasons!
Please please someone describe the teaware to me???
So far there is a soft (= possibly more matte than shiny) white Nordic mug with some navy tentacles curling up from the bottom in a bit of a bouquet. Also a stout teapot in white with solid graphic shaped starfishes of different lighter colours. More (better)descriptions later once they’re posted on the website!

There’s a lot of cute mugs :
-the octopus mug is a Nordic and a perfect mug
-there’s a white Nordic mug with pastel colored starfish and a teal interior
-there’s a dark blue Nordic mug with whales all over, and they change color when the mug is heated. I think from white to light blue?
-theres a white perfect mug with the pastel seashells and an orange interior
-a lime perfect mug with white and blue starfish. Interior is white
-a white perfect mug with blue and green whales that change color
- a white perfect mug with a lobster that changes color when it’s heated!
-an embossed seashell mug that white and very subtle
- a glass octopus perfect mug

The new timolino are lime green (faded lime, sorta yellow-lime?) and the other is a rich blue. Ocean blue?
