Oh man. And here I was hoping that someone had pictures of what the new stuff was already. XD /snaps fingers/ Got me all excited for nothing. Well, almost nothing since now I’ll been keeping an eye out for news. Lol.

LOL Drat! I came to the discussion for the same reason as Shadowfall! Or at least to find out what they are, like the names…..Gah.

So is March 5 when the collection is coming out, or just when they are going to announce the new collection?

According to a reply on their Facebook page, the collection is expected to hit stores March 5th :)

Man, I came in for the same reasons shadowfall et al did!
LOL. I did hear from the staff at my local DT though that palm tango is coming back. Apparently that was really popular last year?

I’m more interested in what the teaware is going to look like rather than what teas are coming out since I’m still looking to pick up a perfect mug one of these days. Lol.

That’s a very good point. I find that I like the teaware more than I do the tea nowadays! I absolutly love my Nordic mug, but I would love to pick up another print!

Maybe closer to the end of the week we will get some hints. If not…well it’s only 10 days till the 5th.

So I am trying to convince myself :)

Someone on a facebook page posted (in french) what the new collection will look like :

Pom tango (from last year I think)
Blue lagoon? ( herbal with blueberry, pineapple and lemongrass)
Grape & feeling? ( a tart grape green tea)
Cucumber tea? (black tea with cucumber)
Creamy peach? ( herbal with peach, apple and vanilla)

Name in ? are translations. I have the french names but not the english ones. Can’t wait to taste them !!

OMGsrsly said

Oh thanks! That certainly sounds interesting. Especially black tea with cucumber, as I’ve mostly seen cucumber with green or white tea.

Kat said

Oh, can you post the French names?
But I’m excited about the prospect of a Cucumber flavored black tea. I’m obsessed with cucumbers.

Oh yay! Only one of those looks interesting to me XD I was worried that they’d all tempt me to buy them…

Voilà ce qu’un membre d’un groupe m’a posté pour les noms français :
Rouge tango-thé noir grenades et mangues;
Lagon bleu-tisane ananas, bleuets et citronnelle;
Raisins et sentiments-thé vert raisins secs sucrés et raisins mûrs et acidulé;
Cocombre frais-thé noir au cocombre-
Pêche crémeuse-tisane pêche, pomme et vanille.

Oh oh oh how exciting!
And it’s ok, cavo. In your defense, you did throw in a question mark, which should have kept us all at bay haha

Hahah. I was careful to do so!
But at least we are getting some info! I’m happy about getting more Pom Tango.

I thought the Pom Tango was one of their regular teas? At least the clerk didn’t say anything about it being limited when I picked some up a few months ago-ish.
Not that I’m looking to pick up more since, while tasty, I found out I was allergic to it. Or rather the mango in it. (That’s how I found I was allergic to mango. Lol!)

The Creamy peach? sounds tasty, though I’m not too interested in herbals generally.

you know what you’ll be REALLY ALLERGIC to if you’re allergic to mango?

Poison ivy.

If you spend time in forests, make sure you know what it looks like. Or else you may not live to regret it, depending on exposure time.

Anyway, back to tea…

Really? Huh. I didn’t know that.

Yup, mango is in the same family of plants as poison ivy/oak/sumac and contains some of the chemicals that many people are sensitive to.

Yeah, my mom is allergic only to mango skins, and has to be so careful about mango skins and poison ivy. The weird thing is that she can eat the fruit, but some chemical secreted in the skin makes her react very badly. I’ve had to peel mangos for her for as long as I can remember. I mean, and only if someone else in the family bought them, because she can’t touch them.
