From Yunnan Sourcing

Classic Wu Yi mountain black tea varietal “Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong” means literally “from Wu Yi Mountain Small Tea Plant”.

Our offering is processed in traditional style and carries notes dark chocolate taste and aroma with a sweet after-finish.

We recommend brewing with 90c temperature water. Wash once very briefly!

This is not a smoky “Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong” and should not be confused with the smoky type “Lapsang Souchong”!

this was another tea from this morning, but Raritea came over for a visit so i was distracted for a while. today this is exceptionally chocolatey and delicious. such a fantastic cup of tea.

Do you have 2013 of this? I thought it was much better than 2014…..

Sil

I am of the same opinion you are…sadly 2013 sold out before I could pick any up…so I just have the bag of 2014.

I have 2013. i bought it in March when new harvest wasnt available. we are always looking for fresh harvest to have the freshest tea but this kind of tea gets even better with age. on some sites specializing in Yancha the ones from 2011 or 2012 are more expensive than 2014.

….. add 2013 ZSXZ to Sil’s box…..

I love this tea. I have the 2014, still unopened, & maybe some 2013 left, I think.

OMG this tea is so good. Chocolate & sweet. Smooth not bitter or astringent. Yum! Been brewing this gongfu this morning and on my 3rd tiny cup. I would put this on my list to reorder but I have plenty for now. What more can I say? Big slurp Mmmmmmm
