Inspired by a Chinese dessert eaten at special family reunions (round glutinous rice balls filled with peanuts in ginger syrup), the green tea base balances the warm properties of peanuts and ginger.
Ingredients: Organic Green Darjeeling, Organic Ginger, Roasted Peanuts
Recommendation: 1 full teaspoon per cup. Stop kettle before boil and steep for 3-4 minutes. Taste after 3 min mark, ensuring it’s not too bitter for your liking.
(If you do let the kettle come to a complete boil, pour water in your mug/tea pot and wait for a minute or so before you steep the tea leaves. By then the temperature should have cooled to about 80 degrees Celsius, the ideal for preparing green tea).
Net: 45g in resealable stand-up foil pouch to keep your tea fresh
No flavourings added, just what you see.
