From Tea From Vietnam

Does the name Dragoncloud somehow remind you of Dragonwell or Longjing? Congratulation! You instinct was right because Dragoncloud is a relatively new variety that born by crossing between the Dragonwell and the Ta – the original Vietnamese cultivar. Except the well-known nutty fragrance, Dragoncloud tasted quite different from Dragonwell. It has more bold flavours with nutty fragrance and a floral hint of Osmanthus, moderate bitterness and astringency like red wine, smooth and grassy in taste, long lasting sweet aftertaste and a bit of ‘cooling’ effect that still linger on your throat.

This green was interesting. It’s delicate and complex with a really nice thick texture. It has a really nice balance of marine, sweet, floral, herb, and crisp vegetal. It is certainly a cloud with the thick texture. Did not like the marine notes myself but otherwise an sophisticated green tea.
