Mountain Organic Indonesian Green Tea

I enjoyed this very much! I got a free sample from the company and I am glad I did. It is a very traditional green, but of good quality. It is definitely fruity but has a little astringency. I like it!

I received this sample from Tea at Sea. I am not generally a green tea drinker. This seems a usual green tea, somewhat vegetal and grassy. I do not detect any fruitiness or seaweed, as the company has described. Just a usual green tea. I do like their oolong very much though.

Tastes like a sweeter taiwan tea crafts baozong green.

It is good. Thought it tasted more like a light oolong

I enjoyed this green to quite a bit. Not a huge fan of green teas but I am really trying :-) I can see my self craving this green. I got the fruity flavor slight veg taste plus a sweetness Nice refreshing clean taste I steeped at 185 for 2 min
Second steeped 185 for 4 min
Third 195 for 6 min
All 3 steeps were successful and juicy

The Indonesian Green was just alright. Fairly standard green tea. Didn’t get any hints of the fruity flavor it mentioned.

I got 5 samples of their tea here in Nice, France even though it’s a Canadian company. The 5g samples from their Organic collection are amazing. I steeped a small teapot with the whole 5g like the guy at the booth said and the freshness is more than anticipated. It feels like the tea was picked this morning. Mountain Organic Indonesian Black Tea is my favourite of the three (Green, Black, Oolong). Used my new Breville tea maker set to 100 degrees for the black tea and 85 degrees for the green tea. The green tea smells a bit of seaweed and the ocean and tastes very light, smooth and refreshing while the black is a little sweet, strong and more full bodied. The Oolong was very nice but the ceylon Sencha was not what I expected. Never had Sencha from Sri Lanka before and I don’t think I will do it again but the Organic Black, Green and Oolong are a must try for every tea lover.
