I finally went to one of those afternoon teas at a cafe at the Boston Public Library (beaautiful). Anyway, they had Harney & Sons teas, which I was really excited about. I think my mistake was ordering this tea since they left the leaves in the pot and it way oversteeped, getting bitter. It was good at the beginning, though, so I will refrain from rating until I try it properly later.
I buy the tea bags and use this at work. I fill up my cup part way with water from the hot water dispenser and then add about an inch of cold water. By the time I get back to my desk, my tea’s done steeping and I’m good to go. I reuse the tea bag a few times, so one bag takes me through the whole day.
Sounds like a delightful afternoon, except for the bitterness.
