Paris

The smell is better then the taste, but the taste is good. I’ve never been to Paris but if there were a tea to go along with every city name this one would be a good fit. Perhaps I steeped it too long. I am tasting some bitterness and more black tea then I am the other flavors. I will retry this again and be more careful about my steep time.

Not sure how I feel about this one. I’m going to have to try it again to do a real rating or tasting note. Maybe I’ll just go take a nap because I’m feeling really out of it now, and I don’t even remember what this tea was like only that it was so-so. Shrug. I’m tired of being sick. I know I’m better than I was only a few days ago, but I’m still not doing great. It’s times like this that I realize how sick I still am, when I can’t really remember the mug of tea I just finished.

Sipdown, sort of! I used all of my loose leaf but still have pyramid bags. So the number doesn’t change but it’s one thing sort of gone. Honestly I can’t tell any difference in this one loose/bagged.

Sooo… I’ve had this since Black Friday, and an obscene amount of it too, as the other folks I ordered with, I mixed up somehow and thought they wanted more. Even after swapping, selling and sharing a lot, as well as those that wanted some through Black Friday, I still have several ounces left — and this is the first time I’m trying it. You can understand my bias, at this point! :)

For some reason I thought this would be a chocolate fruit tea. It’s more of a berry caramel tea, kind of…? I have to wonder if I brewed it wrong, as it’s okay. Just okay. I mean, it’s nice and all, however I’m finding it a touch trying, and I want more caramel or just flavoring in general.

Thanks to NayLynn for a lovely sample of this tea. This is one I’ll be adding to my cupboard. Nice black tea flavor with mild bergamot, vanilla and carmel. I added a bit of stevia. It’s a lovely cuppa on a once again, very cold morning (-3). I’m quite enjoying it. Yesterday I had to brew 4 different teas before I found one that was what I was really in the mood for. All of them seemed flat and dull even though I had them before they just weren’t right. This is a much better way to start the day!

A nice cup of tea saddened by the realization that this is the last of the tin. I am out of Paris. How does this happen so fast?

I am an easy going woman, but a total tea snob and it is rare that I will even bother with bagged tea, but Harney & Sons has caught my attention (NTS: Next time I’m in the States, visit a storefront).
This tea was available in our cupboard at work (the ladies often make an afternoon cup of tea, which I love), I opened it up for a smell, and was intrigued enough to try it.
Although I am unaware of the ingredients, I get berry and vanilla on the palate. It is naturally sweet and I appreciate that the black tea leaves are still prominent above the blend of flavours.
As odd is this may sound, the aroma reminds me of the same aroma you get from Fruit Loops. I enjoy the sweet, fruity taste and aroma.

This is a good tea but not my favorite. It has a better aroma than the flavor. Tasted a lot of berry. If you are a berry fan then this is your tea- interesting blend with the vanilla. All the flavors in the description were there but overall it came out a little flat. Definitely better tasting if added a little sugar and personally I am not fond of sugar in tea other than this.

The quality is apparent but this one did not blow me away. I am glad that I had the chance to sample it.
