A Family member bought a box of this recently and I was wanting something minty tonight and it really hit the spot! This was the first tea that I drank as a child, this tea was what I’d drink at night and mix my medicine into.(It was powdered) So this tea really brings back memories. I’m not a big fan of peppermint so It’s nice to have an easily accessible herbal tea that has spearmint instead.
Flavor wise the honey I added blends nicely with the chamomile and other herbs leaving a sweet herby taste. While the spearmint flavor reminds me of gum. It’s a really nice palate cleanser. After adding some honey to it and trying it I decided that I didn’t even need to add any milk.

I steeped this using two tea bags in a 12 oz cup. The water temperature was boiling and I lost track of how long it steeped but it was likely around 8 minutes.

this review is going to also be my review for the celestial seasonings regular sleepytime tea because im drinking this toe to toe with each other. 2 cups vanilla, then 2 cups regular. both of these teas are just so comforting. probably the vanilla a little more so, also smoother with the vanilla, but i am enjoying the directness of the regular over the vanilla right now. pretty sure i will have to give these both the same rating as it will come down to which i am in the mood for at the time.

Tastes great and smells even better.

This is a chamomile based tea with spearmint and a few other background flavors.

When I opened the package I smelt mainly spearmint but when I started steeping the tea the chamomile smell and taste became the more dominant with the spearmint more background. I barely noticed the other ingredients.

Sleepy time also really helps me. My favorite thing about it is the blackberry leaves.

This smells of sweet mint and chamomile. I like this one much better than Bigelow’s Sweet Dreams, but it’s still not really exciting enough to hold my attention today. I keep forgetting about it then having to reheat it. Perhaps another day when I’m in the mood for something calming I’ll come back to this one.

Gives you exactly what it says, delicious for a bagged tea. I find the spearmint in it goes well with the chamomile
