Adventaggedon Day 20: Tea 2/8
Holy shit!! I have had a lot of carrot cake inspired teas and in my experience even when a tea can get the earthy sweet carrot notes, the cake notes themselves, or the spice combo exactly right they practically NEVER give me the cream cheese frosting note that I deeply crave and believe is, in fact, fucking crucial to conveying a proper carrot cake.
This tea not only got the light carrot flavour and warming cinnamon and nutmeg spot on but they fucking DELIVERED when it comes to the cream cheese frosting flavour. It was the perfectly tangy sweet and creamy vanilla that felt ingrained into the cup and I was just so euphorically happy as I was drinking this blend in the morning today!

I’ve been waiting anxiously to dig into these advent calendars and the day is finally here! I drank this tea while going about my day, including a visit to the Dickens Fair. The dominant flavor was a light cinnamon which muted the green tea. I tried to imagine it as carrot cake, but carrot has never been a flavor that translates well in my brain to tea. It was an enjoyable cup, but not something I’d seek out.

Yes, they did presales for a only a short time. It looks like a few of us on Steepster were able to get one.
Oh good, that means I get to read some tasting notes for their teas.:D
Yeah, they don’t have many reviews here. It looks like those of us with advents are going to have to add many of the teas to the database if we want to post notes for them. :/
