Certainly not an overpowering tea, a pleasantly even and mild floral flavour, with a playful hint at the natural bitterness of black tea. Perfect for a slow afternoon.

I just want to stress that this is my own opinion and that i am very new to drinking tea. I received Ahmad Tea Darjeeling in a sample pack of their teas off of Amazon. This is the first one i tried and i was not impressed with it only because it was a bit strong and bitter even with a bit of honey added. I would recommend to people who like strong teas but probably wont be drinking anymore myself.

So it looks like I didn’t get a callback for the play I auditioned for. Its not entirely the “thanks but no thanks,” sometimes they just don’t need to see more of you, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was a little sad. Drat! I was hoping.
Oh well. This cup of tea shall console me.

gmathis

I’ll drat right along with you and add a “well, poop!” for good measure.

Evol Ving Ness

And I will call you bunny. A friend calls friends bunny when they need a bit of consoling.

I am sorry, bunny. WE need to see more of you.

Indigobloom

Boo! will there be more plays to audition for?

gmathis

I shall add bunny to my vocabulary. I often use chickie in the same context.

Evol Ving Ness

Glad to share the bunny love. Being called bunny in the appropriate moment instantly makes me feel better.

Rosehips

It is a very nice thing. I shall probably adopt it into my own vocabulary!

Rosehips

And there will be more plays sometime. Not right away, but I’ll keep an eye out for future auditions!

Indigobloom

Keep us posted… bunny!

Got this for $8 at the local produce store a couple months ago. I didn’t expect too much from it due to the price. I brewed it according to what it said on the tin (5-7 minutes) and using the default 1 tsp of tea per cup, but it turned out way too strong for my tastes at even 5 minutes. The next time i brewed it I tried 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Perfect! The tea has a reddish black liquor and a very fragrant, complex aroma. Its fruity but bold taste is a nice complement to a hearty meal. It also has that unique muscatel finish that you would expect from a darjeeling. Only issue i had is its astringency (which you only really notice after a cup or so). Surprisingly delicious for such an inexpensive tea.

My boyfriend made me a cup of this when we woke up this morning to make me feel better after falling victim to a head cold. He steeped it too long, but it was a decent cup to wake up to. I
