I read a few reviews on Amazon where travelers had mentioned drinking this in Turkey and loving it. I added it to my order with my new varible temperature kettle. Well, it’s not actually tea at all. It’s closer to a pre-sweetened cider. It’s sweet and pleasant. I’m sure I’ll have a craving for it now and then.

I’m always searching for a good white tea to drink in the evenings. As a black tea lover, I need a white that has enough flavor to keep me interested. This gentle sweet floral is almost perfect.

In the world of favorite second flushes and higher rated estates that is my tea cabinet, I had completely forgotten about Glenburn. I slightly over steeped it as I was washing a couple dishes to pass an entire three minutes and I think that was actually a great mistake. The Glenburn remained smooth but with what could be a stronger flavor. It’s both fruity and vegetal.

I had earmarked it for an upcoming swapbox but I may have to keep this one.

This just showed up as a sample in a order that arrived in record time. I decided to try something different and go with more sugar than I usually put in tea period to see what happens. This tea is so creamy and smooth I fell like I’m drinking a fantastic vanilla caramel latte. I wish Stacy had just warned me when I requested a sample to not even bother and just add an oz to my order. ;) lol.

I did not have such a violent distaste of this tea as others have. I loved the smell of the dry leaves, very floral with a hint of my favorite bergamot. I always like a good black tea in the morning and I like the complex base to the subtle florals. I would keep this in my cupboard. This was a sample from greenteafairy, I think.

I’m really becoming a fan of Stacy’s flavored oolongs. They are balanced and sophisticated. I am a fan of florals in general so this tea really didn’t have to work that hard to impress me but it just did. I love the subtle yet distinct rose tones in taste and smell. The champagne colored tea is pretty, smells pretty and just tastes good. Is there a more girly tea out there?

So my first rating on Steepster can be called nothing but a head smacking moment. I am new to proper brewing and I have had this tin of tea since I received it as part of a Christmas package. I received this tea and another that I finished long ago because I could never get anything out of this one. What I mean is that I was so frustrated with it that it never went any deeper than a light yellow and had absolutely no flavor. WTH? I mean I was boiling the water, probably rolling, so what is going on with this tea. For almost a year I just thought it sucked.

So today. I am left with the left overs in my cabinet and I decide to steep a cup of this as I am into a cup of light tea and I really want to make it a little sweet. So, I heat some water to the point just before a boil and set my steepster app to white tea. What happens? I get this lovely, deep honey color tea with very pleasant flavor. I’m astonished that I have wasted 48 out 50 bags with boiling water. #49 I get it right and begin to like the tea. head smack I can finally taste the ginger and smell the lovely peach aroma. It’s a real treat. I think this tea needs to be in my cupboard forever, just because.
