drank Hydrate by two leaves and a bud

This was the second sample that I got to try. I cold brewed this one as well. I did not mind drinking this tea, but I think the hibiscus would have been better off left out of this blend (just my opinion).

My mother placed an order for Two leaves and a bud company. They make the best peppermint tea! Anyways, she received a couple samples and gave them to me to try. They could both be cold brewed, so that’s how I made them. This one was my favorite one. I was skeptical of the ingredients list, but they blend well together.

drank Sunset Matcha by DAVIDsTEA

I LOVE this one! It did not start as love at first sip, but I have learned to adore it made as a matcha lemonade. It recently went on sale and I ordered 750g of it for fear of running out! I really wished that they would not retire so many teas.

drank Medley Of Mint by Twinings

It is a cool summer night at the moment, so it’s a perfect time for a hot tea! I decide to try this one out for the first time. It tastes so good-the peppermint and spearmint go so well together in this blend! One of my new fav teas! I had a chuckle at the hot air balloon on the tag of the pyramid shaped tea bag. Just the other day, I woke up and opened the door to let the dogs out and I see this hot air balloon descending nearby! It was such a cool sight to see and a great start to the day. Riding in a hot air balloon is on my bucket list of things to do.

drank White Peach by DAVIDsTEA

Has a light fuzzy peach candy flavor with a perfume like taste to it at the end. It’s definitely drinkable, but not one I’d reach for all the time.

This is a lovely green tea. Tastes fruity with a hint of floral.

I found that this smells a lot like Davidstea Raspberry Mojito. I wasn’t a huge fan of that one, so I am a little skeptical of trying this one out. I prepared it iced and I did not like it at all! The mint is overpowering the berry taste in a really bad way. This one is going for a trip down the kitchen drain.

Has a nice chocolate/vanilla flavor and the rooibos taste is just perfect in this blend. I like this tea! I got a cute set of 3 tins of 25g each at marshalls on clearance and decided, why not try em? They sound delish. Super Berries and Green Tea Pomegranate were the other two teas in the set.

drank Maple Syrup Oolong by DAVIDsTEA

OMG this tea is SO delicious as a hot latte! Tastes like maple syrup and pancakes. I got my boyfriend to try it and he said it tasted like french toast. I can see myself going through a lot of this tea-I hope this one sticks around for a long, long time!

Update: I tried this as an iced latte. It was good, but made as a hot latte is better.

drank Berry Burst by DAVIDsTEA

This is the last and third tea from the cold brew collection that was recently released. I guess I saved the best for last! It smells really good! I also accidentally steeped this longer than planned since something last minute came up and I forgot all about it! We are talking about 18 hrs steeping here! That didn’t ruin it though since it tastes AMAZING! I find it’s exactly as the name suggests-a burst of berry flavor (strawberry/raspberry). It also tastes like cherries to me! I just love, love, love this one!

Bio

I share my life with my 2 Labrador retrievers and my wonderful boyfriend who understands my obsession for teas as he has his own items that he collects. It’s a win win situation as long as all the bills are paid right? Davidstea was the first company to get me hooked on their products in 2013 with their bright colors of tea accessories and huge selection of teas. And even though they have since discontinued some of my favorite teas, I still adore them but I have branched off to try other companies like Tea Taxi, Citizen tea, Tickled tea and recently Adagio Teas. My dream is to open my own tea/gift shop store one day.

*I only review tea once and then Update my post to add any new info to it. I like having an accurate count of how many teas I have tried so far.
