Alright so I got the re-blend of this last week. & right from smelling the packet this morning, there was something off. It had an almost fruity scent to the dry leaves.
Much the same once steeped, it’s almost fruity & only slightly pancakeish. I did add a touch of maple syrup, which maybe is what really threw the cup off for me. But it was not the yumminess I remember

ahhh yes I remember reading this. Going to try it with this one & my S’mores.
Maybe it’s also from being around all those fruity 52teas? I try to store all my buttery teas together, maple teas together, etc. That way if there is cross-contamination, hopefully it will just make it yummier. ;)
