The first time I made this I was underwhelmed. Mildly chocolatey, a hint of spiciness from the pink peppercorns. It wasn’t as much fun as it looked in the tin. I put it back into my cupboard and forgot about it.
In preparation for a new DAVIDsTEA order, I pulled this one out again. I used the last little bit from my sampler pack and brewed myself a travel mug-full to take to work. This time, after looking over some reviews, I added milk and some sugar to the mix. And … WOW! It’s chocolate with mint syrup. Thick, rich, an absolutely amazing dessert tea that satisfies my sweet tooth better than cookies or cake. Stunning. This one is going in my next DAVIDsTEA order.
