June 2023 → a tea that was a gift
Eh, this isn’t great. It’s super old though, so I’m sure that’s the reason. I only have a couple of bags left so I may just steep those up together to see if that gives me more flavor. These tea bags were a gift from a coworker several years ago.

June 2023 → a favorite bagged tea
Another tea that I love but always seem to be forgetting about. It’s dark and earthy with a solid cardamom flavor. This is a tea that I’ll make and finish before I even think about it because it’s just that good.
Flavors: Cardamom, Earthy

This is a surprisingly good shu! I didn’t think bagged puerh could be very tasty but Numi is what I recommend for tea newbies who are not equipped with infusers and such.
I was just looking on their website and it looks like they don’t make this one anymore. I might need to try one of their others though. It looks like they have three different puerh options.

June 2023 → a lingering holiday/advent tea
A leftover tea from the 52Teas advent last year. Oolongs are often hit or miss for me. I really enjoy the ones with a deep toasty flavor. This one was lighter than I was hoping, but the maple flavor really came through. It wasn’t for me, but James loved it!
Flavors: Maple Syrup

I’ve been digging around on the Mandala Tea website, reading through everything so I can make a ridiculous list of teas to buy and try. Anyway, I found out that they sell trace mineral drops as a flavor enhancement and since I have some at home already I decided to add a few drops to my tea today. Has anyone else tried this? I’m not sure if I can taste the difference but I like the idea of it and I’m getting some good stuff in. Might experiment with adding a few more drops with each cup to see what I like best.
This is a papaya-flavored tea and while I’m not a fan of fresh papaya I do like this blend. It tastes more like peach to me, I think. Which I love, of course.
Flavors: Peach, Stonefruit
This is a nice one—a favorite among our office staff.
