168 Tasting Notes
My first tasting of Ruby Pie and I did taste the strawberry and vanilla notes, but the rhubarb was not hitting me…this was based on just plain Ruby Pie…next I added some sugar and I did get a bit more rhubarb and more of a pie taste…in the end I added some almond milk and it really brought out the rhubarb…this is an interesting tea, with multiple layers, not bad.
I LOVE this tea…it is a great substitute for hot chocolate, it is the taste of dark chocolate with a rich fruity orange taste…add a bit of almond milk and it is simply divine…I even steeped it a second time and it had a bit less chocolate taste, but the orange was more prominent. A good tea, I will keep it in my cupboard especially during the long Canadian winters.
Finally a blueberry tea that tastes like blueberry, not just a tiny hint of blueberry, but like actual full blueberries…this is yummy. Not a reflective tea, but an in your face tasty tea. So depending on your mood, you may or may not enjoy this tea, but for me tea varies depending on my day.
My very first Butiki Tea…my order of multiple Butiki Teas came just as I was leaving to catch a bus to visit my daughter at University…so I just ripped opened the box and grabbed one; I was running late and just caught my bus, but I had a thermos of Chai and my first Butiki, to be brewed with my daughter when I arrived.
It was worth the rush to grab the tea. This is a pistachio (one of my favourite things to eat) creamy tea and with a little sweetener added it is somewhat like ice cream. It reminds me a fair bit of Davids Tea “Secret Weapon”, but a milder, better version of it.
Sounds tasty!
