So there’s a new tea company here in Atlanta, and there was a LivingSocial deal for them a couple days ago, and nothing says try out this tea like spending* $10 to get $20. They have a website with far more tea than their little mall cart shop, and I guess if there’s something I like that’s on there, they can get it there so I wouldn’t have to ship it or anything since they are based here.

*Like you really stop at $20. I was actually at $20.07 and of course I couldn’t stop.

Anyway this was the first one I picked because I like Darjeeling, but I’ve only had 2 and nobody has been specific about it just like “Darjeeling” or maybe saying what flush it is. Of course, this tea is not even on their website for me to pull up all the other information but at least we’ve got all the letters.

And actually my bag is wrong because it says this is an Assam even though it’s definitely a Darjeeling. They are new so I’m sure there are kinks to work out. I wasn’t feeling good because I was hungry and I wanted to go home and the poor guy at the cart really wanted to keep me there hahaha.

Anyway this tea is good. I love the astringency of Darjeeling because I’m weird. There’s this nice floral note, and it’s kind of citrusy. I kept thinking honey at first but I have some honey that’s infused with lime oil so that’s probably where I’m getting that.

I am going to steep it a second time later and then move on to a couple others! Also if you want to check them out their website is teabar.com, they have A LOT of stuff and you can buy .5 oz of stuff which is always great.
