1629 Tasting Notes
I received this from yssah a long time ago. I finally was able to sample this. I love the bits of almond in this black tea, and almond tea is one of my favorite teas to drink. I love almonds and almond milk … and I love the warmth and the amaretto taste to it. It is delicious. It goes great with milk and sugar and definitely a good dessert tea.
Flavors: Nuts
Preparation
I used up the last bits of my sample! This is super delicious! The brew was a nice, light-medium amber brown. The scent was amazing. It smells exactly like caramel apple! The oolong was a nice base because it didn’t overpower the taste. This is a great blend!
Flavors: Caramel
I finished up my sample! I finally got this right today, which is great! I steeped this longer than usual and it brewed a nice medium brown. The scent was chocolate! I added sugar and milk to it, which definitely brought out the flavors more. It was creamy and I could actually taste a bit of strawberry even though it was faint. Delicious blend.
Flavors: Berries, Chocolate, Cream
Preparation
I received this in a swap a long time ago. I was nervous to try it because of all of the rose petals. They are very pretty and the blend has a little black tea in there. I used the whole sample and steeped it in a small 8oz glass teapot that my mom gave me recently. The rose petals are pink and very beautiful. The liquor was a pale pink/brown. It tasted surprisingly good! It is light and slightly floral. It is not overpowering and not bitter at all. This is a great tea! I wish there was a little more black tea in this blend.
