1629 Tasting Notes
Thank you again Angel for this sample!
I put the whole packet into my new glass teapot that my mom got for me. I am not sure how many pearls there were… perhaps 5-8? It brewed a nice light-medium amber. It smelled warm and roasted. Delicious! It tastes like a yunnan black tea. Delicious! I love the slight nutty and chocolate undertones. It doesn’t need sugar or milk at all. This was so good!
Thank you Angel for this sample. This tea reminded me of the fact that I absolutely LOVE oolongs! It has been a long time since I’ve had a cup of one. I love the bits of white-yellow flower petals mixed with some stems and rolled deep emerald tea leaves. The first steep was very bitter. I think I steeped it too long. The second one was perfect. The nice nutty floral and the warm green oolong is great! This is a delicious tea! It can last several steeps!
Preparation
I believe I got this tea from the Traveling Tea Box Pass B!
This smells like mint! This tea brewed dark brown. The scent was mint chocolate. The flavor was strong even though it has been in a plastic ziplock bag. Delicious! The blend is a good one! It has a hint of hazelnut and dark chocolate. With the mint mixed in, it tastes like Trader Joes’ Peppermint Hot Chocolate mix. Delicious! I added sugar and milk to it, which is great. The mint is a little too strong though.
I received this from Angel to review. Thank you!
I love Dragon Well. It is one of my staple green teas! I love how the leaves look like flat green blades or swords. It smells delicious and green. The liquor was a nice, mild yellow-green. This tastes so good. It is buttery and smooth going down my throat. There is no hint of astringency or bitterness at all. It is slightly floral, warm, and slightly roasty in flavor. Good tea!
