At first sniff it smelled like spinach. A very vegetal smell and taste. Lovely delicate green color. Not bitter at all. Very wet and quenching. I am not horribly fond of green teas, but this one seems to be pretty high quality. If you like light, vegetal flavors you’ll love this tea. My rating is based on the quality of the tea, not whether or not I liked it or will buy it again. Greens just aren’t my cuppa. :)

Extremely strong scents of vanilla and caramel upon opening the package. Once brewed, it was a lovely golden brown in hue. The tastes were as I was led to expect from the initial scents – almost like a roasted vanilla with strong caramel undertones. Sugar would make this tea far too sweet for my taste – I don’t think it is needed at all. This would make an excellent tea to infuse with cream for a creme brulee.

Also, it is flavorful warm as well as cold.

Very smooth, not as astringent as other teas of this type that I have tasted. Lovely scent of vanilla and cream with the bergamot leaving floral citrus notes in the throat.

A wonderful blend. I usually brew a pot and drink it as it goes from hot to cool. The taste is good at any temperature.

Lovely color. Not really to my taste though. It is a bit too light.

My go-to tea for iced tea drinking. I’m sure there are better quality darjeelings out there, but this one suits my needs.

Very smooth. The tangerine taste is very understated and complements the fermented white tea leaves perfectly.

I prefer black teas and they are correct – I like this oolong.

I normally don’t care for rooibos at all, but this is a lovely chamomile blend. I like chamomile with vanilla and honey and this has those tastes already.

I don’t notice the caramel flavors that Harney claims in this tea, but I do taste the vanilla and bergamot. I think this is a lovely tea for anytime of day.
