33 Tasting Notes
Ohhhh me loves this tea. It’s so creamy and buttery and rummy and good. I added some sweetener and a splash of milk, and it just added to the creamy goodness and I think it brought out the commute for me. Nom nom. Will have to add some rum sometime soon! This could be trouble! :)
Finally got around to trying this tea. I grabbed a bag since it was tea of the month, not really knowing what Ceylon or star anise was. But she showed me the tea and there was a star in it and my tea brain was like, “OMG A STAR SO CUTE” and I bought it haha. Surprisingly, I like it! It’s kind of weird to me, and new, because when I bring my cup to my mouth to take a sip, I smell the licorice scent…but then I don’t really taste it. It’s actually really nice though. It’s nice and creamy, and I can taste the coconut and a bit of white chocolate! It’s strange because all of the flavors are quite subtle, but I (think) I can taste them all. It’s a really nice tea and one I did not expect to enjoy judging by the smell! I’m glad I bought this tea and will enjoy the bag until it’s gone. I may even steep another cup right now. Yum! Weird to me, but yum nonetheless!
It’s good, but all I really taste is cinnamon…maybe some coconut? It just kinda dries my mouth! It’s okay, but not really what I imagined when I smelled it! Meh!
Edit: I didn’t mean to be so hard on this tea. I actually do like it haha! My rating seems a bit to low but I will drink it again and I enjoyed the aroma it left in my house. Who needs candles when tea is around :)
One of my very favorites. I even keep my tin out on my counter instead of my tea cupboard because I drink it so much! I love the chocolate with peppermint, it’s a perfect balance in this tea. And the little bit of spiciness is perfect! The smell of this tea just gorgeous! I once had this tea in one of my exams in school and afterward everyone was wondering where the chocolate cake was that they were smelling. Haha! Anyway, lovely tea!
I think this tea is just perfect! It’s not too minty to me, and still quite calming or soothing without being too POW peppermint in your face. I think it would be awesome with some vanilla soy. Yum. Might have to try that later tonight :) love this tea! Plus the little candy canes are too cute.
Well, I went out and bought all of celestial seasonings holiday teas, because I’m a sucker for the cute packaging and anything holiday themed! I liked this one, very pepper minty and candy cane-ish! I love all mint teas (usually) so I figured I couldn’t go wrong with trying this one out first. I liked it, it was nice! That’s really all I can say!
