Wow, this works big time. Made all my porcelain gaiwans, cups look new. I just used the hot water from the faucet, put in 2 tsp in a big bowl and put my stained teaware in there and they all look new. No scrubbing, nothing. I’m impressed.

I just bought the big 1 lb tub of this!

I really need to get some of this for the infuser in my gravity well, it gets so rank after a while.

@Cameron B. hehe I’m going to go buy the 1 lb tub too.
@Mastress Alita It really cleaned my screens too. I couldn’t believe it. lol All my stuff get so “rank” too lol. I bought it cause someone remarked how badly stained my tea stuff was >.<. It was like one of those funny commercials. lol

I love it for my Finum brew baskets. They tend to get fairly tea-stained over time, and I’m always shocked by how well the Smart Soak cleans them! I tend to forget what color the mesh is meant to be, LOL.

hahaha omgosh Cameron :D

Good to know it works on the finum baskets… those are exactly what I use. But I’ve never tried the mandala soak before. I can’t even use one of my finum baskets until I clean it.

Well, I have a NEW finum basket I’m using, but the older one must wait until a good clean.

Kawaii433

hehe That’s good :P ^^ I can’t tease you too much since some of my teaware probably resembled that one finum basket (which is why someone actually commented on one of my cups. >.<) I told them I scrubbed with baking soda but couldn’t get all of it out. Now they look brand new, I almost don’t want to use them. lol

Bio

Longtime casual tea drinker. In the past, mainly Matcha, Gyokuro, Sencha, Genmaicha… Etc. I like all teas: Green, oolong, black & pu’erh (prefer ripe over raw).

Chanoyu (for matcha prep) and Gongfu cha (for other types of tea) are the main ways I prepare my tea (Gaiwan, Yixing teapot, Kyusu). I drink all tea… Usually unflavored. This past year, I’ve tried many flavored now because of all of you lol. As long as there aren’t artificial sweeteners, it’s all good.

Favorite stores: TeaVivre, What-Cha, Mandala Tea, 52Teas, Whispering Pines, Bird & Blend, Yunnan sourcing, White2Tea, Lupicia.

The flavors I dislike: Artificial sweetener, lavender, violet, any strong floral-perfumey tea; cantaloupe, papaya, honeydew, rose, licorice, anise, jasmine, any mints, leather.

Favorite flavors: Citrus fruits (especially grapefruit & tangerines), granny smith apple, bananas, guava, mango, tamarind, watermelon, stonefruits, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, milk, cinnamon, creme, bread/pastry, nuts, toasted, roasted.

I generally don’t add anything to my teas unless they are flavored, then I may add a splash of milk.

As I explore, my ratings may shift. 90+ generally means I’ll keep it on my shelf.
