I didn’t know what to expect when I picked this up at a discount store, but was encouraged by the real pear pieces.
It’s a smooth rooibos (i.e. not too woody), the pear tastes fresh & juicy, and the vanilla comes across more as a mellow creamy note than a noticeable vanilla. It all blends together well and tastes like some sort of rich dessert – pears with cream, basically. It tastes like it has milk in it,even though I’m drinking it plain. I like it better than I expected to, but couldn’t drink it daily. I bet it would be great iced though!

I was searching for a pear and cream dessert to compare this too, and found this: http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/baked-pears-with-cream
It’s ok cold, but the pear tasted “juicer” and fresher when hot (then again, the hot mug was steep #1 and this cold is steep #2 of same bag, so it may just be that the flavor has weakened.)
I have been trying to find this online but can’t find where to buy it. Could you let me know where you get your tea at?

let the bag cool, then resteeped (cold brewed) overnight (~12 hrs). Will try it later…

I bought it at my local Big Lots a while back. They only sell closeout/overstock, so it has probably been discontinued by Tetley.
