7 Tasting Notes
Comforting, floral black tea. Strong rose scent. Astringency low enough to enjoy without milk, but stands up well to cow’s milk and coconut milk. Very easy drinker. First flavoured tea I ever tried.
Flavors: Malt, Rose
Preparation
Lovely tisane. Nice mix of cocoa, lemongrass and rose. Coca note is stronger when brewed warm, rose not stronger when cold brewed. This one makes a surprsingly good cold brew – definitely worth a try!

Preparation
This review is mostly a warning for people who might be tempted to blind buy a big tin of this. Don’t. It’s quite possibly the most unpleasant tisane I’ve ever tasted. Disharmonious mix of liquorice, celery, dirt, dandelion and fenugreek. Not up to Bird & Blend’s usual standard at all.
Flavors: Celery, Dirt, Licorice, Licorice Root
Taste profile chocolatey as expected for a Lapsang Souchong. Unpleasant amount of astringency, overwhelming taste of cheap cooking chocolate. Tea page link here: https://iteaworld.com/products/souchong-black-tea?pos=2&_fid=b76f4668c&ss=c
Nice strong smoke flavour. Flavour profile what you’d expect from a Lapsang Souchong but with an unpleasantly bitter aftertaste. Tasted like cooking chocolate. Tea page link here: https://iteaworld.com/products/wild-souchong-black-tea

Nicely perfumed, very floral. Charcoal notes initially overpowering, but then there’s a nice grassy flavour after a few steeps. Tea page link here: https://iteaworld.com/products/minnan-narcissus-oolong-tea
