Having a cup of this this morning with half and half. Trying to drink down some stuff before I move next month, and I’m looking at you, random Bayswater teas. All except my Bayswater holy trinity: Creme Brulee, Divine Temptation, and Chocolate Macchiato.
Still smells more like a cider than anything else. Spices are muted and drowned out by the vinegary undertones.
I feel bad talking about myself on here, but has anyone gotten a swollen eyelid before? I woke up with one, presumably from the Clinique eye cream I started using. I’m sure it clogged the sebaceous glands. But I’ve been experiencing other really weird, unrelated symptoms over the past few weeks. Started feeling worn down and fatigued at the beginning of the month, then the other week, I started getting a fever which has been on and off still. Headaches. Sore lymph nodes too, particularly in one underarm. So bizarre! I was going to go run errands today but am going to stay home, do work, and drink lots of tea today instead. :)

I guess it’s not bad. It’s just weird that it’s been going on for weeks now, and I can guarantee a doctor would be all “Whatevz, it’s a random virus. Shut up and go home.”
Im no doctor and maybe it’s nothing but all those symptoms you are describing are worth consulting a professional IMHO…and if there’s one thing I never mess around with is the eye area. Hope it doesn’t last, take care of yourself :-)
Oh geez that sucks! Maybe try a warm compress, and if you think it might be an allergy, an allergy pill? Eyes are important, so please see a doctor if it doesn’t clear up in a couple days. :) (I get super puffy when one type of tree blooms. I don’t know what it is because it didn’t come up on an allergy test, but warm/cold compresses and allergy pills really help.)
Thanks all! I’ve had the eye problem twice before, many years ago. Probably from makeup, and it always cleared up in a day or two. Warm facecloths help, I think.
I got the other symptoms not long after I moved to Sweden, and after a week, I went to a doctor, they ran blood tests, and he claimed it was just a random virus and I’d have to wait it out. Probably a weird foreign virus my body wasn’t used to. Took a little less than two weeks. But now at three weeks, I’m getting really weirded out.
doesn’t sound good :(

After a very uncomfortable experience with pinkeye, the dr. told me to put a tiny bit of no-tears baby shampoo on the compress. Helps to wash out the ick. Worked great.
