251 Tasting Notes
This is a very bright, fresh tea. There is definitely a vegetable kind of flavor, and it has a very fresh green odor. Drinking it made me feel I was doing something very good for myself. There was no trace of bitterness at all. It had a very smooth feel to the tongue. I’m very, very glad that I got to try such a wonderful tea! It made me hope that I’ll use up the teas I have quickly so I have room to order some of this tea.
It’s very good, and I’m looking forward to reading some of the other reviews. Thanks Gingko!
I cold brewed this overnight and drank it out of a thermos at lunch. This tea is great cold brewed!! If you have it, try it cold brewed for the summer. If you don’t have any of this tea, buy it so you can try it cold brewed for the summer. (And yes, I know that it’s not summer. I just wish it was summer vacation so I didn’t have to work!)
I had some of this at breakfast this morning, and while I don’t think this will be an everyday tea for me, it’s really nice for a change! Very sweet intense honey flavor, which I think is from the pollen pieces. Anyone know if these are bee pollen? It sure makes this tea different from any other I have tried.
This came in the mail yesterday. (Well, I bought it and it was delivered to me.) I tried a cup this afternoon, and it was very enjoyable. It’s a complicated kind of tea. Not flavored, but lots of flavors are there. Sort of a miracle of nature. There are caramel notes and a little cocoa flavor lingering in the wings. It’s interesting, and I think most tea drinkers would enjoy trying it.
I’m going to try this one iced very soon. I live in Florida. It’s March. That means our summer will be starting soon.
The more I read about this one the more and more intriguing it gets! Another pretty awesome tasting note!
@teaplz I ordered some earlier this week because I too was intrigued! I can’t wait for it to come in and I hope I enjoy it as much as the others.
I think I’m going to have to break down and add this to my shopping list after all the rave reviews it has been getting lately. I think I need to get a side job just to support my tea habit…lol.
Yesterday as I went to my dentist appointment in the afternoon, the thermometer in the car said the temperature was 80 degrees! With this temperature to inspire me, I’m going to start trying a lot of my teas iced. I cold brewed this one all day in the fridge, and it was really good! I was able to get a second glass of tea from the same leaves as well. It was very mellow when cold brewed. You could tell the orange was there, but it was almost subliminal.
I will probably be preparing this tea again as a cold-brewed iced tea.
I’m almost sure that I drank this a couple of times without logging it. This is the kind of tea that you’ll drink if it’s in your cupboard, but you won’t necessarily go out of your way to purchase. It went pretty fast, and it reminded me a lot of Twinnings Prince of Wales tea.
It’s beginning to look a lot like iced tea season here in sunny Florida! That’s a good thing, cause I was tired of the un-Florida like cold weather this year. (Why put up with living in Florida if it’s going to be cold???) So I’m trying this one iced today. I like it better iced than hot. It seems like drinking it cold brings out a nice fresh apple flavor, which is a nice and cooling.
I’m upping the rating just a tad to reflect my joy in discovering how good this tea is iced.
