So as I read the other reviews they said that they liked it better cold.. But it is such a chilly morning I think I’ll enjoy it hot :] This is a mellow tea. A strong black tea with hints of papaya and passion fruit here and there. A little bitterness at the end but it just adds to the experience. Mm :]

Thanks for letting me try this one too, TeaEqualsBliss! I almost had written all Earl Grey off, as the only Earl Grey I had ever tried was probably the worst tea bag ever. Terrible stuff. Then I tried some Creme Earl Grey and it became my second favorite tea ever. (Worst and second favorite? Interesting.) I think I really love the creamy component in tea. I was still worried as I tried this one, just because I didn’t think I would like plain bergamot, because of my experience with “bergamot”. But this is GOOD. This is actually a quality bergamot and not floor cleaner like that other tea! And the bergamot might be responsible for a bit of the flavor I thought was just the cream in the other. There really AREN’T many teas I don’t like!
As of right now, this is my all time favorite brand of Earl Grey. And there is a simple reason why: to me, it has the best and strongest flavor. Earl Grey is known for it’s flavor, hands down. So when I open up a container of Earl Grey, I expect to smell Earl Grey, first off, and second, have that scent remain or be strengthened when the tea bag meets the water. But this is for tasting, so let me get to that.
As I said before, this has an amazing flavor. It’s classic Earl Grey, with a very rich, smooth flavor. It’s got the right amount of sweetness, and with this brand, I find that I don’t have to sweeten it much, just one level spoonful, maybe a bit of honey if I’m in the mood. I don’t like cream with my tea, usually, and that’s the same with this one, but when I am in the mood for cream/milk/etc, this tea takes to it very well, especially this brand.
I have a lot more to say about this tea, but I don’t want to just ramble on. I love this tea, and I LOVE the round, string free, tea bags. A good tea with no hassle is a winner in my book!
Preparation
It’s been a while since my last tasting note. Like many new teas of mine, this one was a gift. I decided to try it in the morning, because I ran out of my Golden Tipped Assam. This tea had all the true traits of Ceylon tea, and was actually quite satisfying with my morning breakfast. I also had a cup in the evening, which meant I was able to have the time to enjoy it more. I really liked the quality of the sachets- they weren’t like others I’ve seen. Also, there were almost no stems, which is rare for teas in sachets. Quite pleased with this one, but it could have been a little stronger.
Preparation
I picked up some double wall glass teacups now that I can see again (had 2 eye operations) and saw this Melon White Tea in a shop…ah…let’s try this I said. I like White Tea. Nice and bright base for flavor,I find, and full. Took the heat just under a boil… steeped for 3 minutes for a slight first sip then gave it another minute. The liquor is so pure gold. I held my cup up to the light next to my Uzbeki purple velvet with gold embroidered tea cozy and the color matched the golden threads. Just beautiful. The flavor is a delicate melon and even though the container shows watermelon the flavor is more like the edge closer to the rind. Not bitter…just defused. I would caution not to oversteep too long because this will go bitter. This is good sweet only and too delicate to mix with anything else. A good tea for soothing the nerves and maybe as a base for adding chunks of cold melon in the Summer with crushed ice!
I have no clue where this tea came from, but it was in a sealed container so I decided to use my found Melon flavored white tea for a pitcher of iced tea. I cold steeped it overnight which may have been a bit too long because the iced brew has an alkaline tinge to it. Fortunately, it’s just a tinge so I’ll have no problem drinking the rest of the pitcher. All in all this white tea is pretty tasty with a natural melon flavor.
Had this for the first time today on a mission to find the perfect earl grey. pretty good cup of tea, with a good helping of bergamot. The aroma when opened up is quite pleasant and makes me really crave a cup. I dont think its my all time favorite earl grey but a pretty darn good one.
Preparation
This is a tasty breakfast blend. Strong and brisk. A good tea to have on hand, especially on those days when you don’t have a lot of time to prepare tea but still need a good, brisk cuppa!

The aroma that is wafting from my teacup at the moment is quite yummy – it is very vanilla-almond-esque! It almost smells like dessert!
The flavor is also quite nice. The black tea is strong and astringent, the almonds taste sweet and toasty, and the vanilla is smooth and creamy. I’m loving this tea and I’m surprised that this much flavor came from a teabag!
This is a decent black tea. The black tea is surprisingly strong for a Ceylon base, and it is not to be overpowered by the tropical fruit. Sweet with hints of bitterness in the background. An interesting cup that I think is even better iced than hot. A good summertime tea!

Not a terrible Earl Grey, but not the best I’ve tried either… this one rests at a happy medium. A fair amount of bergamot that doesn’t taste artificial or perfume-y (although the aroma worried me a bit before I took sip because it didn’t quite smell like bergamot but rather a bergamot-based perfume)
