I’m pretty sure this is just Adagio’s pecan turtle tea. I used to really enjoy that tea, and I don’t know if they changed the recipe or my tastes changed, but I haven’t loved it the last few times I had it. I taste mostly rooibos with some chocolate and nuttiness. It just isn’t as sophisticated or deep tasting as I would like.
TTB tea! This is light and appley. At the same time, it has a savory flavor like turmeric that’s not my favorite. The second cup of this I tried tasted like almost nothing. The cold resteep was mostly appley. Looks like it’s the same tea as Adagio’s turmeric bliss.
I love root beer teas and this one did not disappoint. Delicious iced with simple syrup. Tastes and smells like root beer. I will have to try it with sparkling water. I had a sample from the Mardi Gras collection. I will definitely buy more since it is seasonal. Will be refreshing in the summer.
Flavors: Root Beer, Sarsaparilla
One of my favorite cold brewed teas. Green tea with big pieces of dried orange, candied mango and pineapple. Very refreshing. I am really impress with Sub Rosa’s tea there is no sugar or artificial ingredients. Another one of my favorite teas cold brewed is Mint Mojito.
Flavors: Mango, Orange, Pineapple
I ordered a four cup sampler of this tea. I wish I had a bigger bag it is delicious. Tastes like a peanut butter cookie. Delicious as a hot latte I will have to try as an iced latte too. It is seasonal part of the Girl Scout cookie collection. I have only tried this one and oatmeal raisin cookie. I ordered a larger bag of the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. Wish I could order the combo pack to try all the teas but I will have to wait till next year I have ordered too many teas lately.
Flavors: Almond, Cinnamon, Cream, Hazelnut, Peanut
This tea is delicious definitely tastes like an oatmeal raisin cookie. I am enjoying it with maple sugar. I have also tried Oatmeal Raisin Cookie from The Necessiteas. I think I like The Necessiteas a little more but this one is a close second. It is unique in that it has lemon, sea salt, raisins, golden raisins and whole milk powder as some of the ingredients. I think the lemon intensifies the other flavors. I will have to try it as a latte too. This tea is seasonal and I have a sample bag from a bundle collection. I just ordered another bag! I am looking forward to trying Rum Cake Black Tea next. I really look forward to trying more of her teas.
Flavors: Cookie, Oatmeal, Raisins, Spices
This is a very good chocolate tea does not taste artificial at all. I love the dark chocolate flavor. The cinnamon and ginger is not too strong. I like that there is no artificial flavors and sweetener . Really good as a latte with almond milk and stevia.
Well the sipdown fever has finally made me crack open this little sample, which I have had for years, and has sat neglected, as it just isn’t my thing.
I don’t like mango, I could care less about papaya, and mate is not something I’ve really tried so far.
But! This was not an unpleasant cup. There was a light fruitiness to it that was actually nice.
Still, I won’t rank it, because its not my thing.
But it is a sipdown, and I am now at 50 teas! Woo!
Goodness, this tea is great cold-brewed! I brewed it overnight (about 1/2 oz in 1.5 L water) and it couldn’t be any more perfect.
The color of the tea makes it look like a green tea, but it’s black. The key lime flavors really stand out. No sweetener needed.
