Just rec’d a case from Amazon since I can’t find a) this flavor or b) plastic bottles of Honest Tea around here. I probably should have just made a pitcher of iced green tea with honey from my stash, but I’d been craving this and caved. Must have been a good idea because it really hit the spot after kayaking this morning (on a lake, in NC, in January, in the morning!). I actually drank two bottles in a row. Guess this case won’t last long… This is the only RTD brand of tea I enjoy. The sweetness is just right – about 1/4 the sweetness of the Southern Sweet tea around here, and about 1/2 as sweet as the Luzianne green tea with sugar/& agave that my hubby makes and drinks by the pitcher.
Preparation
This brings back memories. Peach is one of my favorite black tea fruit flavors. And I had a coupon so I picked this up. It’s a lot less sweet than most other sweetened, bottled teas on the market. But, still, it’s almost unbearably sweet to my palate. I remember about 5 years ago I bought this and couldn’t even tell it was sweet. Our palates really do change based on how much refined sugar we ingest. Still a much better choice than other bottled tea brands. It was my “transition” tea.
YUCK!!!!!!!!!
I was excited to try this cause i love pomegrante. But this was absolutely disgusting. Taste awsome at first but has a kick like robotussin cough syrup. Makes me shudder. Not sure if this is due to the goji berry.
Also seems to be some blackberry in it, which is a weird flavour when you aren’t expecting it at all. Doesn’t taste like pomogrante at all!!!!

Tasting Notes:
Steeped Tea Smell: honey, green tea
Flavor: not sweet honey, grassy green tea
Body: Full
Aftertaste: grassy green
Liquor: opaque yellow-brown
This is much more of a full out tea flavor than many iced teas are. It was not very sweet, it was more of a dry honey. I enjoyed it, but it was a bit grassy.
Once again I find myself using Steepster as an excuse to try another tea. What can I say, I was thirsty and this tea was on sale – not to mention the discussion board question about pear tea. I just had to try it.
I usually find the bottled sweetened tea too sweet but this read “Just a tad sweet” so I was hoping this was better. It was great: slightly sweet and refreshing. I do wish that I could have stuck to their recommended serving of half the bottle but I downed it pretty quick. Although it didn’t affect the taste but it was cloudier than I prefer.
Ick! I really like honest tea. I tend to find their teas refreshing and not to sweet and unique flavors. This was just gross. WAY!!! too much mint and not enough tea. Opening the bottle whams you in the face with mint scent and to top it off it is spearmint and I really dislike spearmint. I took 2 sips of this and I don’t think I can finish it. I gonna see if maybe my boyfriend will drink the rest so I don’t have to trash it. This is definitely not my cup of tea.
