Finishing off the last of this tea this morning…
This is a very good and bold Ceylon. More briskness than in a typical Ceylon, but there is still that underlying smoothness to it. A pleasant malty character. Toothsome. A very enjoyable honey note.
A very good Ceylon!
Preparation
I am enjoying a cup of this with my breakfast, and my opinion hasn’t changed on it since the first time I tried it – it is a delightful Ceylon, nicely brisk (especially considering it’s a Ceylon) with a smooth, creamy chewiness that I am really liking.
There is a backdrop of a honey-like tone to it as well, it isn’t like an IN YOUR FACE honey taste, just a… just-barely-there hint of honey that combines with the other qualities of this tea quite well and make for a very interesting cup of tea.
Preparation
Not only did I have a cup of this last night but I also used it in cooking! I decided to make Vegan Creamed Spinach!
I posted it on my blog with a pic

I almost forgot how much I liked this tea! See other notes…upping rating a bit, too!
I really like this tea a lot.
Here is my full-length review of it:
This is so lovely. Very light butter essence together with a vegetal quality… but even nicer is the floral taste that lingers in the finish. It is a bit citrusy, a very sweet, clean taste.
Definitely one of my favorites from Drink T.
Preparation
The dry leaf has a strong vegetative scent with a subtle hint of flower. The brewed liquor is much softer.
Very light in flavor – fruit-like, sweet, and very yummy. Even though it smells strongly of vegetable, there is very little suggestion of it in the flavor… it’s there… but it hits just at the start of the sip and is quickly washed away by the sweet fruity notes. Astringency is faint but the palate feels very fresh and clean in the finish.
I like this one a lot.
Preparation
Enjoying another cup of this tea as I finish up the full-length review for it (it’s scheduled for later this week, watch for it on the SororiTea Sisters blog: http://sororiteasisters.com )
Today, I taste less of the chocolate-y tones that I mentioned in earlier tasting notes, and more of a fruity taste that is quite reminiscent of mid-to-late summer when fresh peaches and apricots are ripe and delicious. The chocolate-y undertone still is there, and there is also a pleasant baked-bread kind of flavor, accompanied by a delicious malty tone. A very good tea, indeed.
Just got back from some errands and I’m turning to this tea to re-energize! Yum. I just realized that i didn’t write a review of this tea, so I guess I have something to add to my to-do list for this week.
Delicious, malty, with a deep cocoa note. I am also getting the apricot-peach finish that lingers a bit in the aftertaste. Quite delicious.
I am enjoying a cup of English Breakfast at the moment (it’s almost gone already!) You can read my full-length review of this tea here: http://www.teareviewblog.com/?p=15531
I do love this English Breakfast blend from Drink T. It has a lovely sweetness in the background, along with a hint of smokiness, a pleasant baked-bread kind of essence and a nice malty flavor. Very well-rounded taste.
I just wrote a review for it to be published on the Tea Review Blog soon!
Finishing off the last that I have of this tea.
It is so good. The mango flavor in this tea is brilliant. Sweet and delicious. One of the very best mango teas I’ve ever tasted.
Preparation
Oh man, my cupboard’s already over-stocked, but I must add this to my shopping list! Have you had this iced? I’ve never had hot mango green tea.
Yes, I had it iced too… it’s very good iced but because it’s been so cold lately most of the teas that I’ve been drinking have been hot. Hot is generally my preference anyway… although I do come across some teas that are better iced than hot.
