From Drink T

Rooibos was popularized by South Africans, who have been making herbal tea from this little red bush for generations. Rooibos comes from the Dutch word rooibosche, which means “red bush”. It is most often enjoyed on ice with a slice of lemon and some sugar or honey.

Our tea is a marriage of Rooibos and ripe, summer peaches for a truly delicious infusion. This refreshing beverage can be enjoyed hot or is ideal served chilled on warm summer afternoons.

Thanks TeaEqualsBliss for this one! There is no lack of a peachy scent and flavor here! There is a sweetness from the rooibos that blends well with the sweetness from the peach! Very good. I just kept sipping. It’s very thirst quenching. I also love Drink T’s toffee rooibos that I’ve tried.

Wow… OK… I was sitting at the computer when the timer went off to let me know that this tea was finished infusing. When I walked into the kitchen – PEACH scent filled the air! It smelled so good. YUM.

The combination if the woodsy rooibos and the peach flavor creates an interesting taste – the flavor of the rooibos actually seems to cut through some of the sweetness of the peach which is something I really didn’t expect. Sometimes when I encounter a peach flavored tea the sweetness of the peach is quite intense – not that its a bad thing, because I love peaches – but I like how this tastes more like the fresh fruit rather than a processed, syrupy peach pie filling.

This is a very delicious and surprising rooibos! NICE!
