I mentioned enjoying chamomile, and the next day my friend brought me all her chamomile teas, including this one, since she isn’t such a fan. The honey flavor is pretty strong, and the chamomile is tasty. They go together really pleasantly. I’m drinking it with almond milk and flavoring syrup, as always. I’d consider getting more of this. It’s not super fantastic or anything, but it does a good job at the flavor it’s aiming for. It sets itself apart from other chamomile tea bags for sure.

I have this in my Cupboard and I love it ! I try not to use it very much because I want it to last :)

Sipdown, and I’m glad to make some room for other teas.

Two teabags, 450 mL hot water, some unsweetened soy milk. It makes a nice latte, but it isn’t a particularly good chai. It has a tendency towards tannicity and bitterness.

This is the best mango green tea I’ve found so far and I’m really annoyed about that, considering that you can’t get it outside of the sampler and it would be overpriced anyway if you could because it’s a Disney souvenir. It’s got a lovely smooth fruity flavor, very mellow as long as you don’t oversteep it.

I’m surprised to learn that this has peach and apricot in it; when I drank it it tasted decidedly fruity, but not like any fruit I could identify. There was almost a raisin-like flavor to it. Peach is usually a very identifiable flavor; I’ve had plenty of peach teas in my time and this tasted like none of them. Overall it wasn’t a bad tea, it was just kind of weird, which I suppose is fitting for a Mad Tea Party.

Had this tonight, from a tea bag. Wow. Sweet flavor without adding any sugar/honey. Tastes of peaches on a very good black tea base. Now if I just didn’t have to go to a theme park to get it.

Seems like I saw somewhere (maybe in another Steepster review) that the Disney teas are privately labeled versions from a different supplier. Or I coulda dreamed that.

Atacdad

I found a custom Adagio custom blend, (all hail the Google) http://www.adagio.com/signature_blend/blend.html?blend=60757
,that gets good reviews, albeit from only 5 reviewers. Looking at the ingredient list, I think there are few things in there that are superfluous (marigold and cornflowers), but the fruit flavors “look” right. I’ve ordered some and will report back.

The Adagio order came in. Very close, but not the same….

Fruity, a nice base. I wouldn’t buy this tea again, but it makes a nice iced tea. My teabags were quite old, so the flavour has faded. The black base is very strong and flavourful, but luckily not malty.

I used up the last three teabags in order to make this a sipdown. I cleaned out my tea cupboard today and decided I need to step up my sipdown progress.

My fiance got me this tea a while ago and I had it a couple times before I was irresponsible and had the fine strainer for my Alice in Wonderland french press got all scummy. Since I made chai the other day, I realized that there is more one way to make a small pot of tea. Kitchen tools to the rescue!

Since it was brewing up really dark, I only let this steep for a minute which was a mistake! The flavor was really, really light and most of the flavor was in the aroma. I should have let it steep for at least two minutes or even three minutes. It still made for a nice cup of tea and I do enjoy it every time I drink it.

Finally a sipdown of this. It isn’t a good jasmine tea and it takes up room in my cupboard.

Not my favourite green base, as it is quite vegetal (sencha-like) and tends to get bitter if oversteeped. I’ve found coldbrewing is the best approach.

Flavors: Floral, Green, Jasmine

It’s nice to have a sipdown of this. It was decent coldbrewed with a half tsp agave to sweeten. It was from 2014, so I’m glad to finish it up.

This is surprisingly tasty with milk. I steeped 2 teabags in boiling water for 3 minutes and than added soymilk. It was very good, although the tea isn’t great without milk added.

Thank you Arby for sharing this tasty blueberry tea. I worried that as a Disney product this would bank solely on the brand and pay little mind to actual flavor. Luckily that wasn’t the case. Tannins and brisk blerg. This one isn’t for me, Arby, but thank you for sharing :)

Arby

I’m not much a fan either.

I am not one for EGs to begin with so this was already at a disadvantage.

Sipdown (300)

Sipping on this while watching Lip Sync battle videos and Google Translate Songs videos. It is pretty mellow. A bit citrus, slightly sweet, and a touch astringent but alright. Thank you Arby for sharing!

Chai latte. Mild and vanilla. This is quite smooth and is a gentler chai, which works for me since I am not a chai lover. If you are looking for the traditional chai spice kick, this is not the tea for you but for those just dipping their toes in the chai pool, this is a good start between the creamy vanilla notes and the softer flavors. Thank you Arby!

Thank you Arby for sharing this tea. It is actually quite interesting because it has an apricot flavor with an underlying spice note from the ginger. The combination is really good and this would be one awesome tea if not for the base which is astringent and more prominent than I would like. Sad because the flavors here are really great. Still a tasty tea despite its base.

drank Mint by Disney Wonderland Tea

Sipdown!

Mint and grass still, though today it is also a little buttery which seems out of place. It’s not bad perse but it also doesn’t stand out among the sea of mint teas, at least not in any positive way. I think I will stick to the mint teas I can more easily get a hold of but I am still grateful to Arby for the chance to try this tea. Thank you!

Peppermint and grass. I have one more teabag and I think I will cold brew that. As it is, this is an alright mint tea but for my tastes I would rather cut out the grass component completely and just have a peppermint tea. Thank you Arby for sending this my way!

Sipdown (288)!

When I had this the first time I brewed it hot and definitely was not impressed. This time around I decided to try something different and dumped the teabag into 1/2 a bottle of water to cold brew overnight. I think it has steeped for 12 hours now and yet it has very little flavor. It is less astringent than the hot brew but also less fruity. And has a slight vegetal quality, nothing else. If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought I accidentally grabbed a plain water bottle. I guess this one just isn’t for me but thank you Arby for the share and the chance to try something new!

This tea was cold by the time I got around to it and I don’t know if that is why but this tea is just not great. It is astringent and vaguely fruity though I would never be able to pinpoint which fruit if I didn’t know the name. It sucks because the Mango and Blueberry were so promising and this just pales in comparison. I have one more teabag so we’ll see how that goes but I don’t have high hopes. Still, thank you Arby for the share and the chance to try something new.

Like I said yesterday, now that my second swap with Arby has arrived, I should probably start drinking up the teas from our first swap. As far as the Disney teas go, I think this is one of my favorites because it’s got a really nice mango flavor. The base, though a little vegetal, compliments the flavoring and though it’s not the best tea ever, it’s pretty good.
